Althea McIntyre CPCC, ACC, MSOD, CPA is the Owner of ARM Career & Life Coaching Services, a company committed to helping forward thinking heart- centered accounting and finance professionals lead satisfying, successful and passionate careers.
Her coaching solutions emphasize the importance of striking a balance between professional success and personal contentment.
Althea is typically sought out by CPAs and MBAs to address their career and life challenges. Several professional singers, musicians and artists have also benefited from working with her.
Althea is repeatedly sought out by corporate organizations and professional business associations for speaking engagements, workshop facilitation and coaching services. She is an Illinois CPA Society preferred career coach.
Prior to following her passion of helping people succeed to work as a professional coach, Althea worked as a CPA for PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Chicago IL.
Her accounting and auditing experience also includes working for a leading Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) and a boutique accounting firm in Washington, DC.
She received her master's degree in Organizational Development from Loyola University Chicago, and completed her coaching training from The Coaches Training Institute (CTI).
She is a credentialed coach by The Coaches Training Institute (CTI) and the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and holds the designations of Certificated Professional Co-Active Coach (CPCC) and Associate Certificated Coach (ACC).
Althea earned her bachelors degree in International Business from American University in Washington, DC and obtained her CPA license from the Virginia State Board of Accountancy.
Althea served as an adjunct professor at Columbia College Chicago, were she designed and delivered management courses including Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management.
Althea is a member of the International Coaching Federation and the Chicago Coaches Federation. She lives in Evanston, IL.
